Frequently asked questions
What's included in the free beta?
Everything: unlimited embeds, voice, animation, mocap, AR, x402 paid skills, the dashboard, and the API. We're intentionally not metering anything during beta — we want to see how people actually use the platform before drawing pricing lines.
What happens when beta ends?
A generous free tier stays free forever for hobby and open-source projects. Paid tiers add higher agent limits, custom domains, priority infrastructure, and dedicated support. Existing users get 60 days' notice and a grandfathered transition rate.
Can I monetize my own agents?
Yes. The x402 protocol lets you charge per skill invocation (per chat turn, per generation, per API call) in USDC. During beta you keep 100% of revenue. After beta the platform fee is 2.9% on Pro and negotiable on Enterprise.
Do I need crypto to use three.ws?
No. The web component, dashboard, and API work without a wallet. Crypto unlocks: on-chain agent identity (ERC-8004), payable skills (x402), and creator payouts. If you don't need those, the platform works like any other SaaS.
Can I switch plans later?
Upgrade or downgrade any time from your dashboard. When upgrading, you're prorated for the remainder of the current billing cycle. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the start of the next cycle.
What about enterprise pricing?
Custom subdomain, SSO, audit logs, embed-policy whitelisting, white-label themes, self-hosted runtime, and SLA. Email hello@three.ws and we'll set up a call within 24 hours.
How does the annual discount work?
Annual billing saves 17% compared to monthly. You're billed once per year at the discounted rate. If you cancel mid-year, your access continues through the end of the paid period.
